Children’s Ministry

Journey of Hope has a vibrant children’s ministry with tremendous opportunity for children Birth through the 5th Grade. We have capable screened leaders heading up all of our Children’s programs. Your kids will be excited about our children’s events and they will be taught spiritually enriching biblical truth while they are in our care. On Sunday during the 11 am service there are children’s services geared for their age group. On wednesday Night our Pastor leads Wee Kids for children preschool through 5th grade.

NURSERY

Journey of Hope Community Church (COHCC) offers a Nursery during our 11 am worship service. If you have an infant or child still in diapers, the nursery is a safe and fun place for your child to be during the 11 am worship hour. We also offer Nursery at different events but not always. During the events where the Nursery is not open, parents are asked to keep their young children with them during the service.

PRESCHOOL

JOHCC offers preschool ministry to children 2 and out of diapers to 5 years old during the 11 am worship hour on Sunday. We also offer a preschool program for children during our Wednesday Family Night. Other services and events preschool children may offer preschool care but not always. When Preschool care is not provided we ask parents to be with their children at all times.

Grades 1-5th Grade-school

JOHCC offers grade-school  ministry for children in the 1st through 5th grade during the 11 am worship hour on Sunday. The children are dismissed from the Adult Service after they participate in the first part of the Adult Worship Service. Pastor usually has a children’s sermon geared for them and then he dismisses them to Jr. Church. We also offer a Grade-school program for children during our Wednesday Family Night. Other services and events may offer grade-school care but not always. When care is not provided we ask parents to be with their children at all times.

We screen all of our children’s workers for the safety of our children.
